EchoTec watermakers for yachts up to 38 feet, or 12 metres
Compact, affordable units for yachts where space is at a premium and water consumption is modest. There is no room for a generator and you may want to avoid the extra expense of a premium inverter. So these watermakers are either:
* Battery driven: the watermaker is driven direct from the batteries. This keeps installation costs low, but offers slightly less running efficiency.
or
* Engine driven: the watermaker is driven by a belt run from the engine, like the fanbelt that drives your alternator. This offers improved efficiency and power, but can increase installation costs if space around the engine is limited.
